Femslash Kink Exchange 2024 - Author Letter

First of all, thank you so much for writing for me. I hope, since we match, that our tastes are aligned and that you're thrilled with what you get to write. However, if we diverge in taste, feel free to pick and choose a few kinks that work and give me your version. As long I haven't listed something as a DNW in the sign-up, it shouldn't be a major turn-off, and I'll be grateful no matter what. I like to do these exchanges to write in community with other fic writers, so I just want you to have fun. 

General Likes: I love anything from fluff to mildly dark. I draw the line at hopelessness—I hate when a piece is very dark and the main character is not enjoying themselves and there’s also no way out. I love enthusiastic submission/dominance with lots of after care. But I also love dubious consent, gentle manipulation, authority figures who take advantage of their charges, soft non-cons with a lot of gentle stimulation, morally grey characters that accidentally cross that major line and then can’t stop because the lust is overwhelming.

Pregnancy, breeding, or oviposition as fetishes (mentioning pregnancy as a reality if it’s canon is fine).

I also struggle with stories about people being trapped with no way out, even as I enjoy some level of non-consensual play and manipulation. I want victims to have some sort of agency, so any sort of compulsion where they agency is impossible turns me off. And even for extreme situations like ‘fuck or die,’ I like for it to end and leave the characters in a position to deal with what happened/what they did without coercion. I love captivity as a kink, but I need it to be a finite event. I love manipulation and gentle non-cons, but I prefer these to either lead the victim to enjoying themselves and being conflicted, to some form of Stockholm Syndrome where they’re on board with the situation, or to an end.

If HP or any magic related fandom, please no magical bonds, soulmates, love potions, or compulsive situations. No mind controls of any kind. I want people who are into the sex and the kinks, even when they’re ashamed of it because of the context (captivity or incest, etc.) or when they’re bound and gagged and thus can’t consent.

Victorian Governess/Naïve Charge: For me this scenario is perfect for dubious consent or very gentle non-con. The charge knows nothing about sex, she just knows she enjoys the way her Governess touches her during her bath or when she’s dressing her or putting on her chastity belt, so the Governess takes full advantage of that to claim her charge’s virginity/mold her into the perfect plaything.

Elite Athlete Distracted by Horniness/Coach Who Uses Edging to Keep Them Focused: I want all the pain play and edging with this one, with heaps of manipulation approaching (or crossing into) non-con. Coach places her athlete in chastity device and makes athlete come to her home at night for dinner and extra ‘coaching’ or coach catches athlete masturbating in the shower and punishes her or even a forced proximity/captivity scenario where they’re alone in a hotel for a competition and coach demands they share a room so she can finally exert complete control over athlete and claim her virginity.

Teen In Love with her Stepmother/Stepmother Who Knows It and Orchestrates Fake ‘Fuck or Die’ Situation to Finally Claim Her: I think this one is completely self-explanatory.

Stepmother Who Gets Wet When Stepdaughter Calls her Mommy/Stepdaughter Who Knows It: I’d love this pairing in an accidental ‘bad guys made them do it’ scenario, like the direct opposite of the pairing above—they’re genuinely taken hostage or threatened in a way that heightens emotions and stepdaughter starts calling her stepmother ‘mommy’ even though it arouses her, and the bad guys force them to fuck for their entertainment (and they both feel so guilty when they love it). It would also be great as a deliberate plot from stepdaughter to get stepmother desperate so stepmom submits to her.

Woman with Trust Issues/Therapist Who Wants to Treat Her with Bondage and Sensory Deprivation: This could also be approached in so many different ways. The therapist genuinely thinking this unorthodox treatment will help, but accidental stimulation makes her patient aroused and patient begs to get off. Or it can be a ploy for her to gently non-con her patient.

New Student at Elite Boarding School/Toxic Headmistress Who Wants Her as a Plaything (OW): I’d love for a historical or surreal feel to this one, with the Headmistress being all powerful. From a slow burn where the headmistress teases and manipulates until the new student is eager to be hers from the headmistress simply taking the new student to her apartments or a secret room and keeping her captive until Stockholm Syndrome sets in, this could go in all sorts of directions and still be awesome.

Serial Killer/Her Therapist Who is Fascinated with Her Darkness (OW): I’d love for a bit of a cat/mouse game with these two, where the serial killer pretends to speak in hypotheticals and the therapist pretends to believe it, or whatever your smart brain comes up with. Finally the killer decides she has to have her therapist to herself and kidnaps her, but the therapist is actually turned on by it and wanted her to do it all along.

Vampire Posing as ER Doctor/Patient with Delicious Blood (OW): I think fear increasing arousal and danger kink work for all of these, but I’d specially love it paired with this one. Patient comes in with a cut or something, and the vampire who works as doctor specifically to feed takes her to a secluded area in the hospital and has her way with her meal.

Star Ballerina/Stage Mom Who is Willing to Kidnap Her Daughter’s Competition Before Audition (OW): I’d love some fear increasing arousal here too. And definitively lots of accidental stimulation and accidental orgasms, leading to some degree of Lyma Syndrome/Stockholm Syndrome.

Oh, there were so many moments when Mahit was ‘imprisoned’ at Nineteen Adze’s apartment when I was sure she was going to succumb to her attraction and Yskander’s buried feelings for Nineteen Adze. I think you can take any of those moments and make it kinky.

I also felt like Nineteen Adze and Five Agate were giving discreetly married couple in the sequel.

I’m thinking the Order is not the only resistance network in Wizarding Britain. All sorts of underground networks exist to do stuff like get vulnerable muggleborns out of the country, and the lesbians all know each other and are very good at discreetly passing information back and forth. Narcissa goes to either Minerva or Amelia with some information, and that act of duplicity builds up to attraction and a romance. But I’m okay with after-War as well (happy to pretend Amelia never died). I haven’t bothered Cursed Child, seems poorly written, but I don’t mind people using Delphini to justify why Narcissa stayed on the side (it’s actually a neat way to brush off the moral opposition and get to what matters).

I also would love some sort of after-War Luna/Narcissa. I think if Narcissa ever took the risk to protect anyone, it would have been Luna, since she was locked in her cellar for months. But I also feel like Luna would be the most forgiving, the most likely to offer Narcissa her friendship or nonchalantly flirt with her despite everything that happened.

I think it’s hard to imagine these pairings having anything but gentle tender sex, but I think there’s still a lot that can be explored with both Mensah and Bharadwaj having traumatic events in canon. I think some hurt/comfort would be great here, or also the characters using kinky sex to explore their trauma. Or simply, these could be people who were kinky in the past and who now need to find new ways into what they like because there’s been so much trauma in their lives.
